What's Happening at Hope...

Friday, July 29, 2005

Last Sunday Michelle and Mickey Sanchez visited us regarding their work with Campus Crusade's Bridges Program. This is a ministry to Foreign University students, many of whom come from very prominent and influential families in their home countries. The objective of the program is to lead these foreign students to a personal relationship with Christ as their Savior. As these students in many cases return to their countries as major government or corporate leaders, they can have a profound impact in leading others in their home countries to Christ. They are being supported by the Ketchum Small Group and have brought several NYU and New York's Fashion Institute Foreign Students that are new Christians to their small group sessions. In the Fall, they will be heading up to the Boston Area to pursue formal theological education at Gordon-Conwell Seminary while also reaching out to the college students in the greater Boston Area. If you are interested in supporting their ministry or receiving their newsletter, please contact Larry or Beth on the Benevolence Team.
